iPhone demo online

We just launched a demo product browser optimized for iPhone for the product catalogue. It worked out quite well we think. I particularly like the furniture section, check it out, point your iPhones at http://www.shopwindoz.com/iphone

Do we have the balls to do something like this?

 … I mean THIS

I guess not, cause we would need too much of them …

Valuable Thoughts Well-presented.

wow

This is really good. If you have 20 min to spare, watch this. It is a speach by Larry Lessig at the TED-conference. The publisher describes:

Larry Lessig gets TEDsters to their feet, whooping and whistling, following this elegant presentation of “three stories and an argument.” The Net’s most adored lawyer brings together John Philip Sousa, celestial copyrights, and the “ASCAP cartel” to build a case for creative freedom. He pins down the key shortcomings of our dusty, pre-digital intellectual property laws, and reveals how bad laws beget bad code. Then, in an homage to cutting-edge artistry, he throws in some of the most hilarious remixes you’ve ever seen.

gimme 5

Whenever it will come to a browser near you, it is quite interesting to see what the next incrementation of our favorite markup language will bring us. Lachlan Hunt from ”A List Apart“ is giving us a quick preview:

geekwear

One of our wunderful shopWindoz sellers found this on thinkGeek:

wifi_shirt_anim1.gif

I bet this will be picked by a lot of blogs worldwide… And there are quite a few other things we will see in the future: t-shirts displaying things like:

  • the current cellphone signal strength
  • the current gps coordinates
  • unread messages
  • friends online
  • number of google hits for the person who is wearing the t-shirt

I just dont know whether I like that or not …

What do you think? Would you buy one of these?

hen at work

I think it is important to know that our surroundings infect the way we think and therefore influence the result of our work. In one or the other way. WIRED recently announced a Contest: ”Enter Our Saddest Cubicle“ And the results of it look quite depressing:

Well - I think we are pretty happy not to work like that. Which you might know by now.

Does this mean, our work result is better?

I do think so!

Of course this morning I went to http://www.t-mobile.de/iphone/ to see if I could get one in a shopping cart. And of course this is the error message I was presented with:
