wow
This is really good. If you have 20 min to spare, watch this. It is a speach by Larry Lessig at the TED-conference. The publisher describes:
Larry Lessig gets TEDsters to their feet, whooping and whistling, following this elegant presentation of “three stories and an argument.” The Net’s most adored lawyer brings together John Philip Sousa, celestial copyrights, and the “ASCAP cartel” to build a case for creative freedom. He pins down the key shortcomings of our dusty, pre-digital intellectual property laws, and reveals how bad laws beget bad code. Then, in an homage to cutting-edge artistry, he throws in some of the most hilarious remixes you’ve ever seen.

For those of you who did not know: There is a Flickr-group in which you have to guess where a photo has been taken. I have been doing this for quite a while now, and I think its fun!
.
As we are taking photos all the time, we might, and now we can post them there cause the Shopwindoz-account became member of that group. The first photo is (as you might have guessed already) a view into a shop window! But where is this shop??
[update]
The photo has been viewed 75 time in 2 days until it had been guessed by himbeertonï. Congratulations!

Yes we have a flickr account.
Photos taken by us »on duty« should be found there.
.
Some of us have flickr accounts already, so our own images that are connected to tsoosayLabs or shopWindoz will be posted to these flickr-pools:
.
http://www.flickr.com/groups/tsoosaylabs/
this pool is open only to the tsoosayLabs staff but the images are public by default. Check there to see us, our workplace, our surroundings, whatever
.
http://www.flickr.com/groups/shopwindoz/
shopwindoz berlin is a pool which is open to the general public, so every flickr user can join and post images of shopwindoz in Berlin. We are looking forward to see lots of funny, trendy, decent, brilliant, whacky, exciting or hilarious shop windows there…
.
We have also subscribed to a lot of berlin related pools as well as shop window pools worldwide and the most interesting photos of them we will collect here.
.
And you can subscribe all of these, too:
- RSS for TsoosayLabs images
- RSS for shopwindoz own images
- RSS for shopwindoz images from Berlin
- RSS for interesting images worldwide

John Londei is a London-based photographer who recently published a book called ”Shutting Up Shop“: Taken all over the UK, the book shows fast disappearing shops and shopkeepers.

While the telecommunication players fight for new clients like a mother for her own child, other companies spread out in the market. A main candidate is probably Google. Combing the Google’ s search services and contents (youtube etc.) with high end mobile services sounds like a cool product. But I’am not sure if I would like that. I start to get fear from Google … when do they start to bye a state?
For more info read this article
There is also a blog which writes about how it is working at Google.

…ist a book by Gary Snyder (about: DE/EN) which I loved to read when I was much younger, just before I had cut my hair. Unfortunatly it has nothing to do with the rest of this post but it made a nicer heading.
.
I never got around to use delicious or any other social bookmarking tools rather than the occasional peek around. I do like the idea behind it and I also like people who spend their time trying to make things more usable. Ian Clarke (about: DE/EN) seems to be someone like that. He just launched Thoof and not only has it the double-O in its name, it is also - lOOking gOOd!
.
Speaking about what the web is about (sort of..), here are some links I quite like:

(…well, at least not all the time.)
This Ain’t No Disco {it’s where we work} is a site that invites agencies from across the world to post views into their inner sanctum and like Pandora’s Box, once you look inside nothing will ever be the same again.
(via)
I wonder if we would be called an agency, so as long as we are not part of that, here’s another view into our office:

Although I’ll get some punishment from my team for using the “web 2.0″term, I think this site is always good for inspiration.
On www.go2web20.net you’ll find a huge collection of web 2.0 pages.
